The Week in Review

Beth won a Viewer's Choice prize for her Dippers wallhanging at our Triangle Guild show in October. She made this for her son.

Here we are, a beautiful sunny day in NY. In fact, the second in a row. A walk is definitely called for this morning.

Today I need to sew a Friendship Block for a Chenango Piecemakers member who has moved to VT. Betty created that beautiful Peruvian Tapestry quilt several years ago. The quilt has been shown in numerous places and won prizes. She brought it back to our show in early October for exhibit with some other previous Viewers Choice winners. We will miss Betty and wish her and her husband the best in their move.

Yesterday the Campfire Girls met at Ella Mae's house. We talked, ate lunch, beaded and played cards. I made a purple and lavender necklace and bracelet. Ella Mae made a broccoli soup that was a bit different and oh, so good. She served us Pretzel Salad for dessert. One of her dogs laid under the table as we beaded. We really didn't realize he was there.
