Alert - Campfire Girls Meeting Today

Yes, the Campfire Girls are meeting today at Lois Ann's home. She's making some kind of green chili stew for us. I made Black Bean Salad, recipe courtsey of Joan Reno. It needs to be made ahead so the flavors can marry.
Joan's Black Bean Salad
1 can black beans
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can green beans
1 jar roasted red peppers (or roast your own)
1/2 Vidalia onion, chopped fine
Vidalia onion salad dressing
Drain the veggies, add chopped onion, vidalia dressing and a little salt & pepper to taste. Let set for at least 12 hours.

Now I have to get working on my entry for Chenango Piecemakers' Challenge in July. The theme is What's For Dinner. We have a fat quarter to use in the article. Will post a picture after the picnic on July 8th.
